The Cooperator Community
The coops.africa community is not open to the public. It is a space built by and for verified Cooperators — people who have registered, completed KYC, and accepted the rights and responsibilities of membership in Co-op Pay SACCO, a regulated cooperative society under the Zimbabwe Co-operative Societies Act [Chapter 24:05].

Why KYC Matters
Every person you message, trade with, borrow from, or collaborate with in this community has been through the same verification process. KYC is not a barrier — it is the reason you can trust every Cooperator you meet here. It safeguards your money, your identity, and the integrity of every interaction on the platform.
You enter a trusted space of verified Cooperators. Everyone you interact with has been held to the same standard. You can transact, communicate, invest, and collaborate with confidence.
The community is not visible to unverified users. This is intentional. An open community cannot guarantee trust. We have chosen trust over reach, every time.
Membership in Co-op Pay SACCO is a formal legal status under the Co-operative Societies Act. Your rights, your data, and your financial interests are protected by Zimbabwean cooperative law.
If you are unwilling to abide by cooperative principles, our by-laws, or the responsibilities of a Cooperator under the Act — this community is not the right place for you.

How to Join
The process is straightforward. We ask for the minimum necessary to verify who you are — and in return, you gain access to a community of verified Cooperators and a full suite of cooperative financial and social tools.
Visit coops.africa/user/register and create your account. Provide basic information about yourself and your cooperative society. This registers you as a user on the coops.africa platform and initiates your Co-op Pay SACCO membership application.
Submit your Know Your Customer documentation — identity verification, proof of address, and cooperative society details. This is the same standard required by regulated financial institutions and protects every member in the community you are about to join.
Once verified, you receive your Cooperator credentials and full access to the coops.africa community — and with it, the responsibility to uphold cooperative principles and to help grow the community by bringing in other Cooperators you trust.
Access to this community comes with expectations — not rules imposed on you, but the natural responsibilities of cooperative membership that make the community valuable for everyone.
Voluntary membership, democratic control, economic participation, autonomy, education, cooperation, and community concern.
As a Co-op Pay SACCO member, you are bound by the by-laws of the society and the Co-operative Societies Act [Chapter 24:05].
This community grows stronger with every verified Cooperator who joins. Recruiting trusted members is a core responsibility — the platform is powered by its members.
Attend meetings, vote, contribute content, use cooperative services, and engage with the community. A cooperative only works when its members are present.
Register, verify, and join a growing community of Cooperators building wealth together across Africa. No subscription. No sales pitch. Just cooperative membership — and everything that comes with it.
